NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to join our join our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.

 

The Payroll Clerk will compile and record employee time and payroll data for our various locations. This position will be responsible for time sheets, ticket review and dispatch, data entry, and user assistance across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

Dispatch tickets to appropriate personnel for payroll issuesProcess paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into various systemsAudit new hire paperwork to ensure accuracyScan and file payroll documentsAct as a backup for the Payroll AssistantAssist with special projects as neededPerform other related functions and duties as required Qualifications

Qualifications:

Associates degree or equivalent preferredPrefer previous experience with ADP Workforce Manager, eTIME, or Kronos timekeeping systemsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products including; Word, Excel, and OutlookAttention to details and accuracy are crucial for handling financial data and avoiding errorsMust have the ability to effectively communicate with employees and other departmentsExcellent skills in the areas of organization, time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks are necessaryMust have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all corporate policies, procedures, and legal requirementsMust pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Working Conditions:

Office-based Ability to manage workload during payroll periods and deadlinesLong periods of sitting at a desk performing light physical work, including working at a computer terminalLight physical work involving lifting and carryingTalking and listening to communicate ideas or requirements to individual staff membersVisual acuity to listen attentively and accuratelyAbility to work overtime as needed to complete general responsibilities to meet the needs of the unit or corporation
