Payroll Associate AQUILA Zone (f/m/d)
Job Description SummaryIn this key role you will be part of our HR global operations organization!

You will be responsible for the accurate handling of the Payroll & Benefits processes for employees in the AQUILA Zone which means UK&I, Northern Europe, Netherlands, Italy, Malta, Eastern Europe and Southeastern European countries.

You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems, processes, and legal regulations relevant to Payroll and Benefits at GE HealthCare.

This role requires a high level of data integrity and analysis to support key decisions in the areas of Payroll and Benefits and to ensure reliable execution and support.

You will identify and resolve operational issues and contribute to continuous process improvement. You will deliver first-class service, build effective relationships with your internal customers, and collaborate across functions with internal teams and suppliers.

Job DescriptionYour ResponsibilitiesYou are responsible for the successful execution of one or more Payroll & Benefits processes in the zone and for performing payroll and time-tracking administrative tasks for specific client groups.You ensure compliance with defined KPIs and SLAs and/or coordinate the performance of third-party providers for the assigned process(es).You increase productivity and compliance by identifying opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and simplification in specific areas.With your customer-oriented approach, you provide timely and professional advice to employees, managers, and HR colleagues on challenging and sometimes complex questions/requests related to payments, allowances, and benefits.You work effectively with third-party payroll and benefits providers to ensure seamless, compliant, and high-quality payroll and benefits services.You foster a culture of excellent customer service and continuous process improvement by delivering first-class service and advising on complex questions/requests from employees, business units, and HR partners.You maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to comply with relevant legal requirements and GE HealthCare policies.You develop strong working relationships with GE HealthCare Finance, HR, People Leaders, and employees through timely and accurate processing of HR transactions, ensuring effective communication and early identification of new requirements and service issues.You build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication.You continuously expand your expertise regarding internal and external updates and changes.You participate in internal and external payroll and benefits audits.You are responsible for annual reporting to authorities and related statistics.You provide ad-hoc reports, analyses, and information as needed.Your ProfileYou hold a relevant vocational qualification or a bachelor’s degree.You have initial professional experience in Payroll & Benefits, ideally in a multinational company (additional experience in handling taxable benefits, especially in the areas of e-mobility, stock plans, and loans, would be desirable).You have fluent English skills in written and spoken, every additional European language is a big plus.You can adapt to a complex and fast-changing work environment with multiple stakeholders and prioritize effectively under time pressure to deliver results.You are proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and have experience with SAP HCM and Workday.Desirable Qualities (which you can further develop on the job):You bring strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.You have a high customer orientation with the ability to anticipate and respond professionally to customer needs.You are able to quickly learn new technologies, such as common HR, payroll, and benefits administration systems (e.g., Workday).You have a good judgment to ensure integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.You bring a passion for continuous process improvement and simplification.You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to structure and analyze data.
