Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our team at a leading law firm. This high-level role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with deep experience in payroll operations within a legal environment. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the payroll process and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution and compliance.
ResponsibilitiesManage and execute full-cycle payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on ADP WorkforceNow, including system maintenance, reporting, and troubleshooting.Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other firm-sponsored plans.Act as the primary liaison between payroll, HR, Finance, and Benefits departments to ensure alignment and data integrity.Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Lead payroll-related projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.Prepare and submit reports for internal stakeholders and external agencies as required.Essential Skills5+ years of payroll/benefits experienceExpertise in managing ADP WorkforceNowSkilled with benefits administrationPrior experience working in a Law Firm settingKnowledge of state and federal law related to payroll processingWork Environment
The work environment is supportive and collaborative, offering a hybrid schedule with 2 days working from home in an office setting
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
