Payroll Analyst
We are looking for a talented **Payroll Analyst** to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Payroll Department in Czech Republic. **Work Location:** Can be 100% remote from anywhere in the Czech Republic, with 1–2 days per month in an office. This role involves up to **10% of domestic travel frequency.** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Compliance Leadership: Ensure 100% adherence to Czechia statutory legislation (and support for other countries), reducing compliance risk and audit findings across payroll cycles. + Bilingual Service Excellence: Leverage **fluent Czech and English** to resolve queries quickly, improve stakeholder satisfaction, and prevent misunderstandings with employees, vendors, and authorities. + Accurate, On‑Time Payroll: Administer end‑to‑end payroll (regular, off‑cycle, adjustments) with precise tax/deduction calculations and timely payments, strengthening trust in payroll operations. + Systems & Data Quality: Utilize payroll/HRIS technologies and data interfaces to upload, validate, and balance inputs without error, decreasing rework and downstream GL discrepancies. + Government & Agency Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with tax, social security, pension, insurance, and health authorities; accelerate case resolution and ensure prompt, compliant filings. + Controls, Reconciliations & Audit Readiness: Complete reconciliations, maintain audit‑proof records, and uphold internal controls—improving SOX/ICFR posture and year‑end close readiness. + Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Use advanced Excel/Word (pivot tables, complex formulas, clear documentation) to analyze variances, streamline workflows, and drive cross‑functional improvement projects. + Trusted Payroll Advisor: Serve as a go‑to resource for complex issues and policy interpretation; provide clear guidance, enhance documentation, and elevate process maturity across the team. **Qualifications** Education/ Experience: + College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required. + Minimal level of relevant work experience required. **Responsibilities** To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Strong Payroll and Legislative Expertise: Deep understanding of Czechia statutory legislation, plus the ability to navigate payroll rules in other countries when needed, supported by prior payroll experience and solid use of payroll and HR systems. + Effective Communication Skills: Fluent Czech and English, written and spoken, to manage employee queries, collaborate across teams, and maintain productive relationships with government agencies. + Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Ability to resolve complex issues, perform accurate reconciliations, maintain audit ready records, and use advanced Excel and Word tools like pivot tables and complex formulas. + Teamwork and Self Management: Ability to work well within a team while managing tasks independently, meeting tight deadlines, participating in cross functional improvements, and keeping workflows and procedures fully updated. **Job** Human Resources **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Off-site Remote **Job Type** Exempt - Experienced **ReqID** 2424447 **Relocation Package** No **100% On-Site** No
