JOB SUMMARY The Entry-Level Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the company. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting month end close, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in audits. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and statements for multinational environment. • Perform journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Payroll related journal entries (salary, tax, social security, leave, commissions, bonus accruals). • Validate payroll accounting files received from vendors or internal before posting. • Ensure accurate mapping of GL accounts, cost centers, and payroll codes. • Analyse Balance Sheet and Proft & Loss variances and explain key movements • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS as relevant) • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. • Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation. • Support the payroll team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed • Assist with the preparation and filing of payroll taxes • Identify gaps in accounting processes and recommend improvements. • Support automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • 3 to 5 years of experience in journal posting and reconciliation required. • Experience in a shared services or multinational environment (preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Experience with ERP systems (Blackline, Oracle, D365, or similar). • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual • Ability to embrace technology and change Company Overview: UKG is the Workforce Operating Platform that puts workforce understanding to work.
