Position Summary

Guggenheim Securities is seeking a detailed oriented and organized Payroll Analyst to join the payroll team. This person will assist in the administration of US and foreign payroll with primary emphasis on payroll processing, tax reporting and payroll data analysis. This is an exempt position.

Essential Job Functions

Assisting Payroll team to process full cycle US and foreign payrolls. Acting as back-up payroll processor as needed.Assisting Payroll team to maintain up-to-date Payroll tax account administration with Federal, State and local tax agencies.Assisting payroll team to provide internal and external audit deliverables, Workers’ comp requests and other audit projects.Assisting Payroll team to provide day-to-day payroll support to employees’ inquiries, troubleshooting as problems arise.Maintaining payroll data in HRIS system and Payroll system.Reconciling and submitting employee benefits contributions files to vendors.Preparing payroll reports and reconciling payroll invoices.Completing ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of payroll processing experience with ADP Workforce Now product.Familiar with ADP Smart Compliance and proficient in ADP Reporting.Proficient in Microsoft products.Working knowledge of Local, State and Federal payroll tax laws and regulations.Associate or bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Accounting or equivalent.Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task and maintain absolute confidentiality with the utmost integrity.

Work Location 

Currently, this role is expected to be fully remote.

Salary

Annual base salary between $75,000 – 80,000.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
