(HYBRID - 4 days Remote) Payroll Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to manage payroll processes for a large employee base within a government contracting environment. This role requires strong expertise in payroll systems, particularly Costpoint, and a knack for data analysis to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
+ Administer semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for approximately 2,000 employees.
+ Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including regular pay, bonuses, and corrections.
+ Manage and audit employee timesheets using Costpoint (Time & Expense and Timesheets modules).
+ Perform frequent timesheet corrections and resolve discrepancies in compliance with company and government policies.
+ Utilize Costpoint extensively for payroll and timekeeping functions.
+ Leverage UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) as a supplementary tool for workforce management (preferred but not required).
+ Use Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) to analyze payroll data, generate reports, and support audits.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal and external compliance reviews.
+ Ensure payroll practices align with government contracting regulations, particularly DoD standards.
+ Support internal audits and respond to inquiries from finance, HR, and external agencies.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of payroll experience in a GovCon environment (DoD preferred).
+ Strong proficiency in Costpoint and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
+ Experience managing payroll for large employee populations (1,500–2,500).
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with UKG or similar HRIS/payroll systems is a plus.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This role is hybrid, requiring one day onsite. You will be part of a team of four payroll analysts/specialists and report to the Director of Payroll. The work environment encourages collaboration and efficiency, ensuring payroll tasks are completed accurately and on time.

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08/hr.
