Payroll Administrator (Contract)

Location: Bridgeton, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 4-6 months (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Start Date: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role will involve working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and reconcile payroll data prior to submission to corporate.Maintain accurate employee access records in coordination with payroll and HR systems.Track workers' compensation cases and assist finance teams with cost reporting and accruals.Coordinate staffing schedules aligned with production volume, overtime thresholds, and payroll budgets.Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain confidentiality of employee information.Must-Have SkillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to review and reconcile payroll accurately.Experience maintaining employee records and supporting HR/payroll processes.Knowledge of workers' compensation tracking and reporting.Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with ADP Vantage or similar payroll systems.
