Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Payroll / Accountant to manage payroll operations for both large and small employee groups. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, including proficiency in journal entries, reconciliations, and Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Experience with corporate credit card processes is desirable, and familiarity with Sage Intacct and nonprofit organizations is a plus. We value soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and a strong desire to improve processes.
ResponsibilitiesManage payroll operations using ADP for both large and small groups of employees.Perform journal entries and account reconciliations.Utilize Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP for financial analysis.Handle corporate credit card processes, with training provided as necessary.Collaborate effectively within a team to improve financial processes.Use Sage Intacct for accounting and reporting tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in ADP payroll systems.Strong accounting skills, including journal entries and reconciliations.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.Experience with accounts payable and financial reporting.Familiarity with Sage Intacct.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with nonprofit organizations is advantageous.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.A proactive approach to process improvement.Work Environment
This position is fully onsite, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The work environment is a standard office setting, where employees will work alongside individuals in custodial and similar roles, contributing to a diverse and collaborative workplace
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $30.28/hr.
