Payments-Business Transformation Associate

You enjoy leading projects, analyzing data, conducting financial modeling, developing presentations, executing strategies, and fostering collaboration while managing multiple projects across J.P. Morgan Payments. 

As a Payments-Business Transformation Associate within the Strategy & Transformation team, you will lead projects, analyze data, conduct financial modeling, and develop presentations. You will execute strategies and foster collaboration while managing multiple projects across J.P. Morgan Payments. You will work directly with the global management team on top priorities and collaborate across lines of business on payments priorities for J.P. Morgan Chase.

 

Job Responsibilities 

Lead initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior management of J.P. Morgan PaymentsGather, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findingsModel financial scenarios and analyze valuationsExecute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendationsDevelop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiencesExecute on our market expansion strategy Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executivesCreate and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibilitySimultaneously work on multiple projects across J.P. Morgan Payments

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

3+ years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, a payments firm (e.g., in strategy, product management, sales), or an investment banking division (e.g., M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) Strong interest in payments requiredAbility to work and think independently, strong initiative, and team attitudeDiverse problem solving experience, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments across financial services sectorsOutstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written)Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peersExcellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
