The Digital and Platform Services (D&PS) division of the CIB is an organization of over 30,000 staff providing Technology and Operations support for the CIB’s businesses, and is focused on creating highly scalable, digital platforms that support the needs of our clients. This includes a number of cross-business Operations platforms such as Securities Operations which provides settlement and asset servicing of securities across JP Morgan, primarily providing direct support to the Markets, and Securities Services businesses, but also supporting Treasury Services, Asset and Wealth Management.

J.P. Morgan Payments provides cash management, liquidity, commercial card, foreign exchange and escrow solutions to clients across the world. Teams are constantly innovating, using the latest technology and data analytics to deliver specialized solutions to help clients grow and streamline their businesses. The organization combines four lines of business: Merchant Services, Treasury Services, Commercial Card and Trade Finance to help clients manage working capital and increase operational efficiency. The payments business is rapidly growing.

About the Team

The Cash Operations Transformation Team is part of the Payment Operations organization supporting CIB wide transformation and change programs and platforms. Ensuring that the things we build have been properly thought through, are high quality, sustainable and delivered quickly. We are focused on identifying opportunities to build more innovative things, often across products and lines of business, where we can bring the organization together to define solutions/builds which are broader reaching.

About the Position

You will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, development and management of a Payment Initiation Product.  Delivering against stringent timelines and in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You are expected to have strong communication and influencing skills, strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. 

Lead the development and enhancement of the Product, working with cross functional teams Manage planning, prioritization and track progress of an initiative, identify any potential challenges, collaborating with various stakeholders for resolution of the issues to ensure timely completion of the projects Undertake analysis to define and document the business requirements for development of the new product capabilities, allowing scalability for future changes in business model Conduct gaps analysis as required to determine degree of change emergent from business initiatives Work with UAT team to determine the testing strategy and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities  Drive Operations readiness to support new product roll out by ensuring documentation of process flows, operational procedures, training, user entitlements, clearly defined roles and responsibilities Anticipate internal and external factors impacting strategy and implementing plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities Defect analysis, prioritization and exploring alternative solutions

 Required skills and qualifications

Strong Payments knowledge, and proven experience in driving large scale strategic projects Project Management experience - Execution focused, tenacious and risk aware, with excellent time management skillset  Excellent problem solving, collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Strategic thinker with ability to define future state business model and drive execution Ability to multi-task and manage and deliver competing priorities Experience in designing, delivering & presenting executive level content Previous leadership/management experience required
