Payment Lifecycle Specialist - Alternative Payments

As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within Payments Operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.

Job responsibilitiesHandle day-to-day reconciliation, ensuring adherence to defined service levels and operational performance indicators.Maintain end-to-end ownership of reconciliation, reporting and escalating of the breaks occurred in daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Prepare and deliver operational and management reports (manual and semi-automated) for various products such as FED, Liquidity, and USD Clearing.Develop strong subject matter expertise across existing and new products, business processes, and application flows to support effective change and issue management.Execute and maintain strong operational controls in alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.Proactively identify breaks, risks, and process gaps, ensuring timely escalation and resolution to minimize operational and financial risk. Collaborate closely with break owners and other internal teams to support smooth operations and continuous process improvement

 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMinimum 3 years of experience in Payments, Cash Operations, or Treasury Operations, with hands-on exposure to operational processes, controls, and problem-solving.Graduate or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.Strong understanding of global payment processes, accounting flows, and money movement.Knowledge and practical experience with SWIFT messaging and payment processing.Strong working knowledge of various aspects of cash operations.Role requires support for WHEM/APAC regions, with occasional off-hours work via remote access and mobile connectivity.Candidate must be open to rotational shifts, including weekend working, while maintaining a 5-day work week.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsProficiency in PC applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (advanced skills preferred).
