As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies, and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilitiesManage cash payment and securities settlement and monitoring/approval functions that affect and control credit and intra-day exposure for a portfolio of clients, products, and currencies.Apply sound operational principles to support process and to manage credit exposures/ decision approvals within respective approval authority & currency cut-offsMonitor queues, as assigned, to ensure transactions are reviewed and referred to Credit/Client Services, where required, on a timely basisIdeate on process improvements & efficiencies, and provide inputs on reducing manual intervention Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degreeMinimum 4 years of experience working in Risk & Controls or Banking/Payment OperationsExpertise in Microsoft Applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and experience using SharePointQuick learner and strong interpersonal and team working skillsThis role is based in Mumbai & is in the WHEM hoursPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsProven track record of multi-tasking in a time sensitive environmentKnowledge of AI/ML tools & their applications in business

Working knowledge of Alteryx, etc tools & how they can be used for automation to reduce manual intervention
