As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Commercial Card, you will play a pivotal role in mitigating risk of losses across our client portfolio. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to assess client process flows and identify points of failure. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.

 

Job responsibilities

Utilize independent judgment and technical expertise to resolve exceptions and enhance control environments for technical, financial, and operational processesConduct research and data analysis to address non-routine payment lifecycle issues and ensure accurate, timely fund transfers across various productsApply knowledge of systems architecture and automation technologies to support process optimization and build effective relationships with stakeholders and teams

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Analyze Commercial Card client data to identify outstanding out of balances Knowledge of global payment processing operations and systems architecture to support operational efficiency and change managementProficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret and communicate insights for informed decision-making with senior stakeholdersProvide Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, including the creation of frameworks for analyzing complex processes in order to understand, identify and communicate control pointsAbility to synthesize data from multiple sources to identify cross-functional implications, measure potential impact, and communicate recommendationsCommercial and growth mindset to adapt to fast-paced environments and new business initiatives, with strong interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding and ability to navigate dynamic environments with evolving prioritiesFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies and design-thinking techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with operations, controls and problem solving related to Payments, Cash, Treasury OperationsExperience in global payments and understanding of accounting and money movement processes
