Patient Services Representative is a unique position that varies daily based on the clinical or clerical staffing needs of the practice. Duties often include supporting the physicians and\/or mid-level providers in the practice with clinical activities and direct patient care as well as assisting patients and staff with the administrative and clerical needs of the practice.\n
\n

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nCheck in patients upon arrival\nVerify\/update patient demographics\nCollect outstanding balances and co-pays\nTake messages and triage phone calls\nVerifying insurances\n\n
\n

Required Skills and Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nGood time management and prioritization skills\n\n
\n

Preferred Skills and Experience:\n\nPrevious medical office experience preferred\nCollege-level training\/education in a healthcare support field preferred\nPrevious EMR use\/training helpful\n\n
\n

Physical Requirements:\n\n90% sitting 10% standing\n\n
\n

Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nLocation:\n\nPrimary Site: Cayuga Heart and Vascular- 40 Catherwood Road Suite C Ithaca NY 14850\nPossible Rotating Site: Cayuga Heart and Vascular-201 Dates Drive, Suite 101, Ithaca, NY 14850\nPossible Rotating Site: Cayuga Heart and Vascular-260 Tompkins Street, Cortland, NY 13045\n\n\nShift: Shifts can start between 7A-9A and end between 3:30P to 5:30P.\nTravel: 25% Travel can be expected depending on coverage needs\n\n

Pay Range Disclosure:\n\n$16.00 - $23.00 per hour\n\n
