The Patient Care Technician Apprentice will perform skills including activities of daily living, vital signs, and personal care; demonstrate proper infection control practices; demonstrate therapeutic communication skills to interact with, or on behalf of. This program is for those that are entering nursing school.

While in the program and hired to work in one of the available PCT positions upon successful completion of the PVCC program.

Sentara Orientation Date: February 2nd

Class Start Date: February 5th

Class schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5pm with one day of clinical hours at SMJH added in during the program
