As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will warmly greet patients, customers, and family members both in person and over the phone, ensuring a courteous and timely interaction. You will ensure patient arrivals according to schedule and update their arrival times when necessary. Your role requires a proficient knowledge and understanding of insurance, and you will be responsible for the collection of patient co-pays and outstanding balances. You will assist patients with questionnaires based on their procedures and work to resolve all customer issues by determining and mobilizing the necessary resources. Additionally, you will schedule and reschedule all exams and maintain a clear and organized reception and patient waiting area, stocking it with necessary supplies. A consistent level of productivity is expected, and tasks should be organized efficiently. You will communicate proactively with provider offices, technologists, and leadership.

The work schedule includes Monday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will be part of a team of three Patient Service Representatives in this supportive and collaborative office environment. The position offers a great schedule and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients due to repeated visits on a quarterly or biannual basis.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florham Park, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00/hr.
