Patient Accounts Billing Representative - Remote (Local to Boston, MA) Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking a Patient Accounts Billing Representative to assist with billing and collections processes. This role involves reviewing claims, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate records while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Review and process claims for accuracy and complianceResearch and resolve payment discrepancies and denialsPrepare and submit appeals or corrected claims as neededPost charges, payments, and adjustments in internal systemsCommunicate with patients and payers to address billing inquiriesMaintain organized records and follow established billing procedures

Qualifications

1+ years of medical billing or collections experienceFamiliarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding preferredMedical billing certification is a plus
