Job Description:Help patients access the medications they need. We’re seeking a Patient Access Specialist who can partner with healthcare providers and insurance payers to verify benefits, navigate reimbursement barriers, and support prior authorizations and appeals for pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities:Conduct benefit investigations by calling payers to verify coverage, cost share, and access optionsIdentify coverage restrictions and determine steps to help expedite patient accessInitiate and document prior authorizations (PA) and claims appeals for an assigned caseloadSupport providers with coding/billing questions and complex reimbursement navigationTrack case progress to ensure service, quality, and compliance standards are metReport reimbursement trends or coverage delays to managementServe as a liaison between field reps, healthcare providers, and patients Qualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent Strong knowledge of Major Medical and Pharmacy benefit coverage2–3 years of benefit investigation experience interpreting insurance coverage2–3 years of experience working with healthcare providers on plan requirementsExcellent verbal communication skills and strong grammarSalesforce experience preferred Success in This Role Looks LikeAdaptable, organized, and able to manage a fast-moving caseloadCustomer-focused, professional, and committed to accuracy and qualityTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal and confidentiality practices Your New Organization:This organization's dedication to quality and excellence drives our mission to serve our clients with the utmost professionalism.
