Job Description
The patient access representative serves as the primary liaison between the organization and its customers or patients. This role is crucial in providing product education and addressing a wide range of inquiries, ensuring a positive and supportive customer service experience.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between the organization and customers or patients.Resolve routine customer requests related to products or services through various communication channels, including inbound and outbound calls and the Internet.Communicate with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner following established protocols.Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of solutions.Provide additional customer education and information as needed.Qualify and establish new customer relationships for the organization's products and services.Research complex issues and questions using multiple databases.Notify clients of test results promptly and accurately.Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.Perform administrative support tasks for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to ensure HIPAA compliance.Essential Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Courteous with a strong customer service orientation.Understanding of medical terminology used in clinical settings.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.Previous experience in customer service is preferred.Work Environment
This position operates within a lab/office setting. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 2 PM. The role involves interaction with various technologies and databases to ensure efficient customer service delivery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.51 - $18.51/hr.
