Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
Assist with daily production and prep for service
Ensure consistent quality, flavor, and presentation
Properly measure, mix, and prepare ingredients
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with inventory, labeling, and storage of ingredients
Collaborate with the pastry chef and kitchen team as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
At least 1 year Previous experience as a pastry cook or baker preferred
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability as needed
Culinary degree or formal training is a plus, but not required
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Finger/hand dexterity in order to operate food machinery. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous basis.
