Parts Specialist
Job Title: Parts SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for processing customer parts orders, handling status requests, and addressing miscellaneous inquiries through email, phone, and SAP. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely responses, meticulous attention to detail, and the delivery of high-quality spare parts on time.

ResponsibilitiesManage parts orders, quotations, status requests, returns, and other customer requests.Investigate and resolve issues that may arise with orders and shipments.Collaborate with other departments to develop cost-effective methods to reduce cycle times and provide exceptional service to customers.Assist with follow-ups on past due payments and collection activities, when necessary.Supervise department activities to meet established quality standards and processes.Utilize current data collection processes for root cause analysis.Understand design concepts and operation theories of various product lines and manage variables introduced by product variations.Coordinate final inspections and analyze assembly problems to determine solutions.Essential SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with SAP.Three years of previous experience in a related field preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Exceptional phone etiquette.Strong problem-solving abilities.Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely follow-up.Ability to bring projects to closure.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree preferred.Experience in manufacturing or retail sales is advantageous.Exposure to SolidWorks, EPDM, ACAD, SAP, IES, and Microsoft Office preferred.Lean/Continuous Improvement experience preferred.Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility. The role requires five days a week in the office, with the potential for a hybrid model after proven performance. The company boasts a great culture with longevity, as team members typically have a tenure of over 10 years. The site comprises 140 employees, with 80 in the office and 60 on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
