Parts Representative
Job Title: Parts Representative
Job Description

This position is responsible for filling orders with existing customers and working to obtain new customers to increase sales volume. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating orders, purchasing parts, and scheduling delivery arrangements.

ResponsibilitiesPossess knowledge and understanding of parts sold.Contact existing customers to fulfill orders for parts.Search for and contact potential new customers to fulfill orders for parts.Generate quotes and orders in the sales system.Purchase parts for the sales orders.Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when replacements are not available.Estimate delivery dates based on vendor lead times.Schedule delivery arrangements for orders.Work directly with other departments for scheduling deliveries and parts organization.Investigate and resolve customer problems with parts and/or deliveries.Assist with the collection of owed balances.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficient with Microsoft Office.Great communication skills.Experience in inside sales, sales support, or sales administration.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in sales support and customer service.Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.Work Environment

This is an onsite position at a local manufacturing facility with minimal travel required. The role operates Monday through Friday, during 1st shift hours. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for candidates with industry experience. The territory covered includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. The position offers a commission structure with payments made monthly, based on a percentage of sales revenue, excluding freight and shipping costs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41200.00 - $41200.00/yr.
