Your mission

 

We are looking for a Parts Purchaser to master our operational purchasing and safeguard our supply chain. You will be responsible for keeping everything on track, resolving challenges with lead times, and ensuring every part meets our quality standards. Most importantly, you will be the "voice of the supplier" within our team, building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication across the entire organization.

Key responsibilities

 

Operational Procurement: Execute spare parts purchasing based on planning parameters and perform rigorous follow-ups on confirmed dates to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery. Deviation & Risk Management: Proactively identify delivery risks and implement corrective actions to prevent supply chain disruptions. Continuous Improvement & Smarter Tools: We are looking for someone with an interest in supply chain projects and exploring smarter tools (like AI) to modernize daily purchasing workflows. Supplier Performance: Drive supplier performance management to improve key KPIs, specifically focusing on lead time reduction and confirmation accuracy. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the daily bridge between external suppliers and internal departments (Sourcing, Planning, Customer Service, and Accounting). Relationship Management: Independently lead supplier meetings to strengthen cooperation and achieve strategic availability goals for our global customers. Data & Finance Oversight: Review supplier invoices, handle claims, and support the management of purchasing master data to ensure system accuracy. What we are looking for

 

Mindset Over Experience: While an academic background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering is preferred, we value your potential and tech-savviness more than years of experience. Tech-Adaptability: Comfort working across multiple platforms including SAP, JIRA, and Google Workspace (Sheets/Reporting). Improvement Mindset: You enjoy finding better ways of doing things and are curious about using technology and automation to simplify your work. Communication & Global Flair: Excellent English skills (written and verbal) to navigate a global landscape and negotiate effectively with international suppliers. Resilience: The ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-urgency environment where tasks change quickly and suppliers can be unpredictable.
