**Job Title: Parts Processor** Job Description As a Parts Processor, you will be responsible for using industrial cleaning products, small power tools, and hand tools to clean and restore component parts used in sub-assemblies of process control instrumentation and control valves. Responsibilities + Prepare parts for refinishing. + Inspect the parts to determine if they can be remanufactured. + Replace inferior or defective parts. + Clean and restore parts to a like-new condition. + Report production problems to supervisors. + Follow directions for proper disassembly of parts. + Properly use disassembly techniques, tools, and methods to ensure minimal loss of material. + Handle materials properly to avoid damage per training procedures. + Identify critical components in each series of products. + Ensure all components are properly identified and labeled after disassembly. + Utilize automated inventory control system. + Maintain warehouse organization. + Purge and liquidate excess or obsolete inventory. + Maintain proper space management within the warehouse. + Perform other duties as assigned.
