**Job Title: Industrial Parts Manager**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Parts Manager with a background in manufacturing environments. This role involves coordinating with multiple manufacturers to order parts that will contribute to the creation of a final product. The ideal candidate will effectively manage parts inventory based on production timelines and work closely with production and shop managers across three locations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate with 10-15 manufacturers to order parts for final product assembly.
+ Manage parts inventory in alignment with production timelines.
+ Collaborate with production manager and shop managers at three locations.
+ Manage inventory to minimize overhead costs.
+ Utilize inventory management software to track and control stock.
+ Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
+ Negotiate bulk purchasing discounts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Industrial parts management experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience coordinating with multiple manufacturers.
+ Proficiency in parts inventory management and inventory control.
+ Strong management and warehouse operation skills.
+ Experience with purchase orders and quality control.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 5 years of experience as a parts manager.
+ Knowledge of cycle counting and equipment inventory.
+ Experience in trades with handling multiple parts.

**Work Environment**
Work in a small shop environment with 18 employees, with plans to expand by adding 2-3 more team members. Engage in a collaborative setting where your contributions are valued and the dress code is casual.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.00/hr.
