Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Counterperson with a passion for customer service and the automotive industry. This role requires someone with 1-2 years of experience in a dealership or retail automotive parts environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in finding the appropriate parts for their vehicles.Provide technicians with the correct parts for customer vehicles.Work with the parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.Communicate with customers on the status of parts ordered and notify them upon delivery.Serve as a backup to the stocking clerk as necessary.Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.Essential Skills
1-2 years of dealership or retail automotive parts experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong customer service skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Ford and/or dealership experience is a plus.Knowledge of DealerBuilt is a plus.Willingness to train the right individual.Work Environment
The position is located in the parts department, working alongside the Parts Manager and three other team members who cover the parts counter and stockroom. This is a first shift position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Additionally, the role requires working every fourth Saturday of the month from 8 am to 2 pm. The dress code is business casual. This is a stable company and position with room for growth into other areas of the dealership.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Horsham, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
