Position Overview
Identify, and provide parts to maintenance or production personnel. The employee is expected to utilize several computer systems in order to search work orders, issue parts/materials, and to find additional information related to the part or situation.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments to accurately assess customer needs and establish parts priorityAssist with the unloading, receiving, and verification of materials and partsAccurately identify parts and coordinate with appropriate personnel or departments for material pickup and distributionProperly store and organize materials in designated inventory locationsResearch historical inventory movements, locations, and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies or issues.Contribute to the development and implementation of corrective actions related to inventory controlConduct inventory audits at defined intervals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the stock management systemProvide support to other parts personnel and on-campus warehouse locations to ensure efficient service to internal customersRequirements
