Caring Transitions of Central San Francisco helps seniors and families navigate downsizing, relocation, and estate transitions with compassion and hands-on support. Every project is different, and every client interaction matters.

We’re hiring part-time Senior Downsizing Specialists to support projects throughout San Francisco, the East Bay, Marin, and the Peninsula.

This role is best suited for someone seeking supplemental income and flexible, project-based work. Hours vary week to week and are not guaranteed.

What You’ll Do

Assist seniors and families with downsizing and relocation projectsSort, organize, pack, and prepare items for donation, recycling, or resalePhotograph and catalog items for online estate salesHelp prepare homes for estate sales and assist during pickup daysLift and carry boxes (up to 30 lbs), including stairs and standing for extended periodsFollow safety guidelines and company best practices

Note: We are not movers. Professional movers handle heavy furniture and items over 40 lbs.

Compassion and patience when working with seniors and familiesReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedComfortable with light physical labor and varied environmentsAble to work independently and as part of a small teamReliable transportation required (job sites vary)Occasional weekend availability is requiredMust pass a background checkMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Schedule
