In particular, Schnabel Engineering is looking to expand its current service offerings to clients in need of civil and environmental engineering services as they relate to planning, design and permitting of solid waste management facilities. Qualified candidates will be an experienced solid waste professional, have both an engineering and environmental background, organized problem solver with an interest in managing projects and clients, working with a team of skilled engineers, environmental professionals, and technicians from multiple office locations, and developing a local team of solid waste professionals. **Job Responsibilities:** + Lead and grow a group of professionals in the field of solid waste management that includes design, permitting, environmental, and construction services for new and existing clients. + Serve as a senior leader advancing our position in solid waste engineering and environmental services. + Collaborative work across existing company business units to increase marketplace visibility and foster cross-selling opportunities. **Required Skills/Experience:** + Minimum 25+ years of experience in the field of solid waste management + Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan + Managerial/mentoring experience **Other Requirements:** + Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check + Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening The compensation range for this position is between $80/hour to $100/hour. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors.
