Part Time Office Supervisor

Hours: 40–50 hours/week during peak tax season; reduced hours off‑season

Schedule Availability (In Season):

Mon–Fri: 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.Sat: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Sun: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.Note: Two employees must be scheduled during these times; you will not work the full span.About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer‑focused Office Supervisor to oversee daily operations during the tax season. In this role, you will open the office, monitor workflow, support staff, and ensure tax returns are captured, quality‑checked, and routed appropriately to our virtual network. As the onsite face of the brand, you will play a vital role in maintaining service excellence and act as the primary liaison to regional leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily office operations, including opening/closing, staff scheduling, client flow, and maintaining store readiness.Ensure the office is clean, professional, and welcoming to drive client satisfaction and retention.Lead and coach Tax Preparers and office staff; support onboarding and training in partnership with Regional Operations leadership.Serve as the in‑office point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally.Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax rules, as well as company policies.Oversee proper documentation, secure file management, and workflow adherence.Route returns to virtual preparers when needed and complete daily operational reporting.Support basic community outreach and light marketing activities during peak and off‑peak times.Qualifications1–2+ years of supervisory or office leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.Exposure to tax preparation preferred; PTIN eligibility is a plus.Comfortable providing guidance to preparers and communicating with regional leaders.Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during peak season.Employee Value Proposition (EVP)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
