Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part-time Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain a L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is: Wednesday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintainInspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.Perform preventative maintenance and service callsPerform inspectionsSupervise subcontractors.Troubleshoot Qualifications Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD)Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security ClearanceMust have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an ElectricianMust have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.Must be able to read and understand blueprints,Must have Troubleshooting skillMust be able to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm Equal Opportunity Employer As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
