Job Summary:

A permanent, part-time housekeeper role supporting a private family home in Fulham, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within a busy yet informal household environment.

This role focuses on full housekeeping support within a family home, working alongside a full-time nanny to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household. The family is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a calm and well-presented home.

 

Job specification:

Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping Kitchen and bathroom cleaning twice weekly Undertaking deep cleaning tasks on a rotating basis, including inside cupboards, drawers, shelving, and cleaning beneath furniture Laundry care for adults only: washing, drying, folding, and storing clothing Ironing of shirts (preferred but not essential) and care of bed linen Preparing guest rooms and managing bed linen as required Supporting a tidy, calm, and well-organised home environment Managing housekeeping supplies and identifying when items need replenishing Working collaboratively with the household nanny where required

 

Candidate specification:

Proven experience working as a housekeeper within a private household Excellent communication skills (essential) Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a family home environment Child-friendly with a professional and respectful approach Able to work independently and take initiative Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times Seeking a long-term role with a stable family Team-focused and comfortable working alongside other household staff
