The Part Time Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive, professional, and friendly experience. This position manages incoming calls, routes inquiries to the appropriate team members, and supports general office tasks such as mail handling and maintaining a tidy reception area.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the correct individual or department.Greet visitors warmly, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them accordingly.Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs.Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.Assist with outgoing mail and courier preparation as needed.Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby space; notify facilities/housekeeping if anything requires attention.Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, and completing simple clerical tasks.Provide general support to internal staff by answering questions or directing them to the right resource.Assist with meeting room bookings or basic office coordination when needed.Essential Skills1–3 years of receptionist or administrative experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service and personable demeanor.Basic computer proficiency (e.g., phone systems, email, MS Office).Ability to stay organized while managing interruptions.Additional Skills & QualificationsFront desk experienceMail organizationData entryWork EnvironmentThe position is fully onsite, requiring 20-25 hours a week with a flexible schedule to be determined either in the morning or afternoon. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
