Our client, a dedicated organization within the community, is seeking a Part Time Financial Secretary to join their team. As a Financial Secretary, you will be part of the financial management team supporting the church's mission and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fiscal responsibility which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Part Time Financial Secretary **Location:** Quincy, IL **Pay Range:** $20+ per hour (dependent on experience) **What's the Job?** + Manage the church budget, income, gifts, memorials, payroll, insurance, and the financial campaign. + Develop procedures to support fiscal responsibility in the areas of accounting, budgeting, and purchasing. + Prepare monthly budgetary reports, analyses, and annual reports for the pastor and Leadership Board and committees. + Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. + Assist in the planning and execution of financial campaigns. **What's Needed?** + Experience with QuickBooks and Realm. + Experience in not-for-profit business management preferred. + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or certification in business management preferred. + In the absence of a degree, 5 years of experience in a similar field. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a community-focused organization. + Flexible working hours to accommodate your schedule. + Collaborative and supportive work environment. + Chance to develop and implement financial procedures. + Engagement with a dedicated team committed to service.
