A Day in the Life: What You’ll Do (Part-Time) As a DSP, you empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives. Your responsibilities may include: + Empowerment & Personal Care: Assisting with ADLs such as hygiene, grooming, and meals + Behavioral Support & Advocacy: Following support plans, providing encouragement, and assisting with de-escalation + Community Integration: Supporting with appointments, hobbies, and community-based activities or jobs + Health & Wellness: Helping with mobility, medication administration, and preparing simple, nutritious meals Qualifications We hire for heart and train for skill. No experience required. Must-Haves: + A compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude + 18+ years old + Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance + High School Diploma or GED + Ability to pass a background check What We Value: + Experience as a family caregiver—your lived experience matters + Previous experience as a DSP, PCA, HHA, or CNA (a plus, not required) + Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, or behavioral support needs
