Part-Time Desktop Support Technician
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Part-Time Desktop Support Technician with our client, an IT consulting and solutions provider partner. This person will work around 20 hours per week, 10 onsite and 10 remotely, for a 24-hour healthcare clinic in the Atlanta-metro area. This Desktop Support Technician will work closely with our senior engineer, who will oversee the environment and provide escalation support as needed. Responsibilities include: - Provide onsite and remote Level 1–2 desktop support for ~200 end users - Troubleshoot issues related to: Windows desktops and laptops, Printers and peripherals, Microsoft applications, Internet and wireless connectivity - Provision and configure laptops and desktop workstations - Coordinating with MSP for Microsoft 365 and email access - Perform basic troubleshooting and monitoring of: Fortinet firewalls (FortiCloud dashboard familiarity preferred), Cisco routers and switches, Wireless access points - Assist with IT documentation and asset tracking We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of in-person and remote user support experience - Hardware/workstation setup and troubleshooting experience - Remote-in support experience (LogMeIn or something similar) - General network support experience - Experience troubleshooting firewalls (Fortinet/FortiCloud), wireless access points and Cisco routers and switches - Printer support experience - HIPAA compliance familiarity - Experience partnering with an outsourced managed service provider
