We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal with civil litigation experience to join a collaborative and fast-paced legal team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize, review, and maintain electronic and physical case files
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and motions
Manage discovery processes and coordinate document production
Review, analyze, and summarize depositions and key case documents
Track case deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and court personnel
Conduct legal research using platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw
Utilize case management and document management systems to support litigation workflow
QUALIFICATIONS
2–3 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, preferred but not required
Strong understanding of Rhode Island court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
Experience drafting litigation documents and managing discovery
Ability to analyze and summarize complex documents and depositions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools (including Bates stamping and file management), and case management software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with document management best practices
