Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to construct electrical panels directly from schematics and drawings. The primary focus of this role is to build custom panels that meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical schematics for the assembly, wiring, and testing of UL508A control panels and UL698A hazardous location panels.Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve issues, as well as develop prototypes.Troubleshoot and mark-up schematics to correct errors.Work with team members to address and resolve issues.Design and produce labels using a laser engraver.Manage and sort inventory within the division.Troubleshoot electrical issues discovered during testing.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical, troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Experience in assembly, electro-mechanical work, and using hand tools.Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.Experience in production, PLC troubleshooting, and machine building.Minimum of 3 years of panel building experience.Proficient in reading schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and panel building.Field service experience with up to 25% travel for service and installation purposes.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing setting within a well-lit and organized building. All necessary tools will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albertville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
