**Job Title: Controls Technician** Job Description As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for building electrical control panels for a variety of custom testing equipment across different industries. This role requires expertise in reading electrical schematics, constructing custom electrical panels, and performing organized point-to-point wiring. Responsibilities + Read and interpret electrical schematics. + Properly build and layout custom electrical control panels. + Perform clean and organized point-to-point wiring on control panels. + Test finished panels to ensure they operate correctly. + Wire switches and controls, and run conduit (EMT Conduit). + Utilize a variety of electrical tools, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, and drills. + Inspect work to ensure everything functions properly. Essential Skills + Industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician background. + Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints. + Experience with electrical control panel building. + Familiarity with AC/DC motors and motor control. + Knowledge of wiring schematics, panel building, and controls systems. + Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and electrical testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in Industrial Electrical or Panel Building. + Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime available upon supervisor approval. This is a manufacturing, custom build, production environment that is relatively clean, organized, and temperature-controlled. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatfield, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
