**Job Title: Panel Builder**
**Job Description**
Join a leading textile machinery manufacturer specializing in spinning and nonwovens industry as a Panel Builder. This role involves full-cycle assembly and fabrication, requiring meticulous attention to detail as you work with custom orders. You'll play a key role in building and wiring panel boxes, harnesses, and junction boxes, mounting components to machines, and troubleshooting any issues.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and fabricate panels from scratch, using schematics and a bill of materials.
+ Open enclosures for spinning machines and mount plates using tools such as a sawzall.
+ Wire components within panels, ensuring meticulous alignment and labeling.
+ Use hand and power tools like screwdrivers, drills, and saws for assembly tasks.
+ Collaborate with a small team of six, anticipating needs and offering support.
+ Learn and apply competencies in standard spinning assembly under guidance.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during panel assembly.
+ Work with voltages up to 575 volts and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with wiring, blueprint reading, and electrical assembly.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of small electrical components and the metric system.
+ Strong attention to detail and quality.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with German electrical drawings and schematics is a plus.
+ Willingness to learn and be coached.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and collaborative, with a small team dynamic. The first shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime. Employees are expected to minimize phone usage during work hours to maintain productivity.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
