Job Description

Join our team as a Panel Builder, where you will be part of a dynamic environment working primarily on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of a half-day on Saturday. You will work between 40-55 hour weeks and be responsible for building control panels and installing on-machine wiring for production machinery. Your expertise in reading electrical control schematics and layouts will be crucial in ensuring high-quality and reliable connections.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and install control panels and on-machine wiring for production machinery.Layout and cut control panel enclosure holes for mounting electrical devices.Assemble interconnection wiring between control panels and electrical devices.Ensure all work aligns with electrical assembly schematics.Use common shop equipment such as pipe benders, threaders, drill presses, and power saws.Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using engineering-provided assembly drawings and parts lists.Work with tight tolerances and install moving parts like shafts and bearings.Review completed panels and machines for accuracy and quality.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in building control panels and on-machine wiring.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical control schematics and control panel layouts.Strong electrical aptitude using various hand tools and shop equipment.Experience with point-to-point and cross wiring, panel building, and electrical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience building mechanical assemblies for production machinery.Understanding of math and measurement skills.Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic drawings.Possession of own hand tools and toolbox.Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, work from aerial lifts, and lift at least 75 lbs.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.
