Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Crater on the 1st shift. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and the ability to work in a manufacturing or construction setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building crates, managing shop operations, and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities
Build crates using hand tools and power tools.Operate machinery and assist in packaging and kitting processes.Use a computer for shipping and data entry purposes.Be responsible for running the shop in the absence of the production manager.Work with customers to ensure their needs are met.Assist with driving a box truck and making runs to other facilities after permanent hire.Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools and power tools.Previous work in a manufacturing or construction environment.Proficiency in using a computer for shipping purposes.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work on the 1st shift from 6am to 3pm in a new facility. The role is contract to possible hire, depending on order stability. You will be one of the primary individuals in the shop, responsible for a significant portion of the work. The position offers a pathway to potentially build into a lead role, with future responsibilities including driving a box truck and assisting with facility runs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
