Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in custom wooden pallets, is seeking a Pallet Builder to join their team. As a Pallet Builder, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Pallet Builder **Location:** Pollocksville, NC **Pay Range: Based on Experience** **Shift: Day Shift** **What's the Job?** + Read and interpret customer specifications, blueprints, or work orders to determine pallet dimensions and requirements. + Measure, cut, and prepare lumber (including 2x4s and 1x6s) using power saws and other cutting tools. + Assemble pallets by nailing components together using pneumatic nail guns, hammers, or other fastening tools. + Inspect materials and finished pallets for quality, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with specifications. + Sort, stack, and organize completed pallets for storage or shipment. **What's Needed?** + Previous experience in woodworking, pallet assembly, construction, or a related field preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude welcome). + Proficiency with power tools, including saws (table saws, circular saws) and nail guns. + Ability to accurately measure and cut materials using tape measures and other tools. + Basic math skills for calculations and reading specifications. + Physical stamina to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
