Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Crater to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or construction environments, and will be adept with hand and power tools. Your role will involve packaging, kitting, and using a computer for shipping. You will eventually be trained to operate a band saw and may work with customers.

ResponsibilitiesBuild crates using hand and power tools.Enter shipping information into the computer system.Work with customers to meet their packaging needs.Operate machinery and potentially drive a box truck after training.Assist with runs to other facilities as needed.Take responsibility for shop operations, especially in the absence of the production manager.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.Ability to use a computer for shipping purposes.Additional Skills & QualificationsPackaging and kitting experience.Experience with customer interactions.Experience operating machinery and forklift.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 6am to 3pm. Work is contract to possible hire, contingent on order volume. The facility is new, with opportunities to take on leadership roles as the team grows. Employees will primarily handle wood products and will be responsible for shop operations when the production manager is traveling.

This is a Contract position based out of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
