Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Paintline to join their team. As a Paintline, you will be part of the production department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Paintline **Location:** Clare, MI **Pay Range:** $16.50 an hour Shift - 3rd - 12 am to 8 am (overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy) **What's the Job?** + Responsible for the appropriate application and quality of paint to all painted parts. + Understand the paint line process from start to finish. + Perform a variety of production duties to support efficiency, quality, and safety in the daily operations of the manufacturing process. + Remove rust, BB's, and any imperfections from surfaces to prepare surfaces for painting. + Record all labor and downtime documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing. **What's Needed?** + Ability to read work orders or prints from Team Leader. + Ability to read a tape measure + Experience in maintaining proper concentration of water, cleaning solutions, and temperature of the wash tanks. + Skills in hanging products on the line with proper hooks, eyelets, and spacing to enhance the electrostatic process. + Experience in applying powder coat paint. + Strong organizational skills to document all relevant information accurately. + Must be able to pass a background and drug screen per the client requirements **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. + Gain hands-on experience in the paint application process. + Be part of a team that values quality and safety. + Potential for career growth within the organization. + Engage in a culture that promotes continuous improvement and learning.
