**Job Posting: Industrial Support Technician (Driver & Painter)** **1st shift: 7a-3:30p Mon-Fri** **Pay: $18-$25/hr based on experience** **Location:** Troy, OH **Reports to:** Plant Manager **Position Overview:** Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled **Industrial Support Technician** to join our team. This hybrid role combines transportation and industrial painting responsibilities, supporting operations by safely transporting materials and applying high-quality finishes to precision-machined components. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of operating various equipment including forklifts, cranes, and spray-painting tools. **Key Responsibilities:** **Transportation & Logistics** + Safely load, balance, and secure products, materials, and equipment. + Pick up and deliver items using a Tundra or flatbed truck. + Inspect vehicles before and after use; document and report any issues. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. + Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation. **Industrial Painting** + Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming. + Apply paint using air pressure spray guns and airless methods. + Refer to technical drawings to identify and protect machined surfaces. + Prior use of a jig is a plus + Organize and maintain painting tools, equipment, and workspace. + Monitor paint booth supplies and report inventory needs. + Assist with part assembly and fabrication as needed. **Qualifications:** + Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record. + Must pass a driver’s physical test. + Experience in loading and securing cargo. + Forklift operation experience required. + Crane operation experience is a plus. + Previous experience in industrial painting preferred. + Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. **What We Offer:** + Competitive compensation + Opportunities for cross-training and career growth + Supportive team environment + Safety-first culture **Ready to join a team where your skills make a difference across departments?
