**Painter - Commercial Wall Covering Installer** **3rd Shift** **Overview** We are seeking highly skilled Painters and Wall Covering Installers to join an ongoing commercial renovation project throughout the North and Northwest suburbs of Chicago (Mundelein, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, and surrounding areas). If you are interested in this position, then please apply today and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out within 24-48 hours. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces for paint and wall covering installation + Accurately measure, cut, and install large-format wall coverings / commercial wallpaper + Paint walls and perform detailed finishing work + Travel to business locations in the North & Northwest suburbs of Chicago + Work 2–4 days per location, completing renovations before moving to the next site + Maintain clean, professional work areas in occupied commercial spaces **Essential Skills** + Proven experience installing wall coverings / commercial wallpaper (REQUIRED) + Strong knowledge of surface prep, cutting, fitting, and installing large wall cover materials + Commercial painting experience + Ability to work independently and as part of a crew + Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or commercial renovation environments **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palatine, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
