Painter

Pay: $25-27/Hour

Location: Puyallup, WA

Shift: 6AM-2:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Painter. No prior experience is required, but a strong aptitude for mechanics is essential. This role involves assembling and installing van equipment, including shelving, ladder racks, and various accessories.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install van equipment including shelving, ladder racks, partitions, drawer units, storage systems, receiver hitches, running boards, and various accessories.Install equipment according to written and verbal directions.Use hand and power tools safely.Collaborate with the upfit/installation team to meet job deadlines.Understand all product line parts and accessories.Maintain a clean and safe workspace.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude.Capability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.1-2 years of wiring experience preferred.Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.Attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal directions.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Clean driving record.Comfortable with occasional local driving within a 30-minute radius.

Work Environment

Work in a small, clean manufacturing plant with a compact office space. The facility operates with one entrance, handling vehicles one at a time. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
