**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** We're currently supporting a reputable manufacturing company in Lenexa, KS in their search for a skilled Industrial Painter to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial painting and powder coating, looking to grow within a stable and well-respected organization. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, masking, and sanding. + Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate equipment. + Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards. + Label and identify items accurately with corresponding work orders. + Follow safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures. + Maintain detailed records of completed work. + Operate a forklift occasionally as needed. + Adhere to ISO 9001 standards when applicable. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in industrial painting. + Familiarity with powder coating techniques (preferred). + Skilled in using spray guns and blasting equipment. + Basic mechanical aptitude and forklift operation experience. + Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience in industrial painting. + Powder coating experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a successful and well-respected company located in Lenexa, KS, with great accessibility via highways. It is non-climate controlled, and personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and jeans are required. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, with flexibility for additional hours as needed, as operations run from 5am to 4:30pm almost every day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
